The engineering challenge

A smart-home brand needed more than a prototype: a manufacturable Zigbee gateway that pairs cleanly with Home Assistant, Echo Plus, Hue, and SmartThings — at a retail cost structure and with packaging ready for Amazon and Shopee.

ELG took the product from design through prototype confirmation to manufacturing: a Zigbee 3.0 USB dongle gateway bridging Zigbee devices to computers and IoT networks, with branding, paid advertising support, and domestic plus international marketplace placement.
